Where the Universe Starts
My son was diagnosed in utero with Tetralogy of Fallot, a type of Congenital Heart Disease. After two open heart surgeries and a lot of time in the hospital he is now a happy, vibrant child with a bright future ahead of him. Like many other children that have Congenital Heart Disease, my son was left with a scar on his chest from his surgeries. To me it resembles a spot where a zipper might have once been and it was the inspiration for this book. Everyday it reminds me what truly special little creatures they all are.
